The SANOVO HistorySANOVO was one of the very first companies in Europe to process eggs in a sanitary manner. Our history starts in 1942 when eggs were broken by ladies (top picture) at the factory in Odense, Denmark. The city of Odense is also famous for being the birth place of Hans Christian Andersen, the world renowned fairy tale writer. Naturally, his story of “The Woman with the Eggs” became an important image of SANOVO from the very beginning. The below image was depicted on our packagings for many years.
