By installing the incineration plant for shells and trays at SANOVO FOODS A/S in Denmark, the SANOVO EGG GROUP prevents the release of 7 tons carbon dioxide per day. This amount corresponds to the yearly CO2 emission of one person. With 250 operational days a year, SANOVO EGG GROUP has 250 carbon neutral employees.

Waste to Energy with additional Benefits
Through environmental friendly handling of egg shell and egg tray waste, the SANOVO EGG GROUP prevents the release of more than 7 tons CO2 each day – equivalent to the yearly CO2 release of one person. In one year, the SANOVO EGG GROUP saves what corresponds to the yearly CO2 emissions of 250 employees.

Waste Water Plant
DERVO in Madrid has a waste water plant (made by SANOVO ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS) working at a level which is 50 times better than the maximum permitted. The k factor (giving a measure of the contamination) at DERVO is below 0,1 and the maximum to be sent to the municipal plant is k=5.
